WaterworldWater World is a groundbreaking week that integrates art with marine science, for a fun-filled and eye-opening week of personal and environmental exploration on the edge of Puget Sound.

Students will work with educators from the Port Townsend Marine Science Center to discover and explore marine ecosystems. Then, working with visual, movement, and literary artists, students learn how to creatively express and embody the results of their research.

Visual artist Jennifer Howard Kicinski will guide students in visual adventures. Movement and vocal artist Christian Swenson will use dance, vocalizing, and movement to help students imagine and explore marine life. Noted science fiction writer Nisi Shawl will work with students to bring voice to their findings.
