Tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander and bassist Chuck Deardorf will be in residence at Jazz Port Townsend in 2008.

Boasting a warm, finely burnished tone and a robust melodic and harmonic imagination, Eric Alexander has been exploring new musical worlds from the outset. He is known as one of the finest tenor sax players in the nation. Chuck Deardorf is a long-time favorite at Jazz Port Townsend, both for his teaching and his performance abilities. Registration for the festival workshop will open soon.

Re-live highlights from Lynne Arriale's opening-night performance at Jazz Port Townsend on Sunday, November 4, at 1 pm on KPLU 88.5 FM. The concert was recorded July 26, 2007, at the Upstage restaurant.
