Tuition -
Cost of the workshop is $535 if received by July 8; after July 8 the price increases to $635. This includes admission to all workshop activities, and all public performances.
If you think you might need financial assistance, Centrum has a robust scholarship and work-trade program. Early application is encouraged.
Room and Board
Most participants stay in private dormitory rooms at Fort Worden. If you stay in a dorm, you are required to purchase a meal ticket. There are a limited number of double rooms, that is, rooms with two twin beds. All rooms come with linens, blankets, and towels, but you should plan on bringing soap and personal toiletry items.
Meals are served at the Fort Worden Commons by Bon Appetit, who maintains a passion for fine locally-grown food in a socially-responsible manner.
Once you've registered for the workshop, you'll receive instructions (and a link) on how to register for room and board.
2012 rates:
- Dorm room with 3 meals/day: $525
- Dorm room with lunch and dinner: $450
- Meals only - 3 meals/day: $280
- Meals only - lunch and dinner: $205
